RISC-V Brazil

RISC-V Brazil 2026 builds on Brazil’s growing strategic engagement with the open-standard RISC-V instruction set architecture. From 2023 to 2025, the country expanded its role in the global RISC-V ecosystem, strengthening its position as a key player in Latin America and reinforcing a national agenda focused on semiconductor innovation, technological autonomy, and advanced computing capabilities.

As momentum accelerates, RISC-V Brazil 2026 will serve as a major platform to connect the community working to make Brazil more independent in the development of essential technologies, including semiconductors, open-standard processors, high-performance computing, Artificial Intelligence, embedded systems, and next-generation digital infrastructure.

The open RISC-V standard, governed by RISC-V International, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, is recognized for its flexibility, scalability, openness, and vendor-neutral model. Its global adoption continues to expand across industry, academia, and government, positioning RISC-V as a foundational architecture for future innovation in computing systems.

RISC-V Brazil 2026 will bring together professionals from the Brazilian and international markets, alongside representatives from academia, research institutions, industry associations, startups, government initiatives, and companies working across the semiconductor and computing value chain.

The 2026 edition aims to move beyond discussion and further consolidate Brazil’s role in the RISC-V ecosystem by fostering collaboration, technical exchange, talent development, industrial partnerships, and concrete initiatives that can strengthen Brazil’s capacity to design, build, and deploy strategic technologies based on open standards.
